This is a temporary student role based in Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. The primary language of work is English.

We encourage applications from qualified individuals who are currently enrolled in 4th or 5th year of an Engineering degree. The ideal candidate will have strong academic performance, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a desire to excel in a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute Continuous Improvement projects for the Quality Team.
  • Organize the presentation of data to reflect results in a visually compelling way.
  • Conduct GEMBA walks to identify issues and mitigate quality issues.
  • Communicate with Key Stakeholders and facilitate plans.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in 4th or 5th year of an Engineering degree.
  • Data management and visual presentation experience.
  • Good academic standing.
  • Strong academic performance and a desire to excel.
  • Proven leadership in professional, athletic, school or community pursuits.
  • Interest in the shipbuilding, defense, or marine industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
