Quality Assurance Technician

Reporting to the owners as Quality Assurance Technician you will be responsible for:
- Random in-process inspection of machined and repaired parts;
- Final inspection of machined and repaired parts;
- Final testing of assemblies;
- Operate coordinate measuring machine (CMM);
- In-house Quality System audits and associated reporting on NCR’s
- Manage & maintain calibrated devices and logs;
- Jointly develop quality forms and procedures for new processes and OFI’s;
- Assist with root cause analysis on NCR’s;
- Provide weekly updates to the senior managers
- Highly organized and able to maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal;
- Great attention to detail and highly focused on quality results.
- Perform incoming inspections on products received from suppliers
- Identify quality issues and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supplier quality assurance activities
- Perform quality sampling inspections on final quality check stage
- Document internal quality check records
- Executing test cases, reporting the status, and logging defects.
- Writing Functional, Integration, Performance and User Acceptance test cases.
- Researching across multiple systems and assisting in updating defect management with requirement basis of defects.
- Running and/or participating in defect triage and business triage meetings.
- Evaluating finished product quality and to ensure specs are being met and the plant is operating with correct parameters.
- Manage data for results and product release of products in SAP.
- Generate, record, COAs, SOPs and report accurate data in accordance with company standards and organize and maintain quality control records in an orderly fashion.
- Arrange the testing of products through external laboratories (Bioassay Samples to R&D, Fertilizer Analysis, Heavy Metal Analysis, Microbial Analysis, etc.) both on a regular basis and as required for Certificates of Analysis.
- Maintaining the checks and managing the Accelerated Shelf-life sampling and testing
- Generate, record, and report accurate data in accordance with company standards and organize and maintain quality control records in an orderly fashion.
- Complete COAs and Summary Reports as required.
- Maintenance of Retained Sample Storage
- Operating and managing lab equipment and instrumentations as required.
- Calibrating equipment and keeping record.
- Proficient on lab good practices and keeping a clean safe laboratory.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all operational requests.
- Conduct directed product investigations (complaint or process-related)
- Encourage the proper mindset of all employees at the facility with respect to the assurance of quality
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Post-Secondary degree or diploma in engineering, quality assurance, or related field
- Minimum 1 years of working experience in engineering, or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Quality and continuous improvement mindset
Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $15.27-$25.01 per hour
