Parts Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Inventory Coordinator to join our team at Magnum Cementing Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the centralized parts inventory required to support our vehicle and equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Utilize our inventory software program to ensure accurate data inputting, monitor inventory levels, and create work orders for all parts ordered.
- Stock Handling and Warehousing: Organize and maintain the central parts inventory, including stock handling, warehousing, identifying and cataloguing parts, shipping, receiving, inspecting, and sorting.
- Inventory Analysis and Reporting: Provide information regarding inventory, locations, and quantity, and maintain ongoing current parts knowledge.
- Vendor Management: Develop and implement a system to gauge vendors and ensure they meet or exceed arranged terms, and assist in identifying and negotiating the best terms with vendors.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, purchasing, mechanics, welders, and assembly teams to ensure correct parts are supplied for various maintenance tasks.
- Education and Experience: Apprentice or Journeyperson Parts Technician, or related education and experience, with related parts experience and computer skills within Inventory Management Systems, Excel, Word, and Scanners.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to prioritize multiple projects, adapt to changing work demands, work overtime, and travel, with a high level of professional conduct, customer service orientation, and excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Previous Experience: Previous work experience in the oil & gas industry or experience in cementing services, training in OHS including WHMIS, TDG, etc., and mechanically inclined.
