As a Flu Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients and contributing to the prevention of infectious diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Vaccination: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and administer vaccinations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Aftercare and Education: Provide patients with clear instructions and documentation on post-vaccination care and respond to any related questions or concerns.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all patient documentation meets the standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures of Spectrum Health Care and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred, with new graduates welcome to apply.
- Registration and Certification: Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work independently, proficiency in English (both verbal and written), and excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
