Civil 3D Designer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil 3D Designer to join our Vancouver office and support our projects in the natural resources and energy sectors.

About the Role
  • Prepare construction drawings for infrastructure projects, including site civil, roadway design, and storm water basins/channels.
  • Develop 3D models for earthworks, roadworks, drainage works, and underground services.
  • Communicate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on project work.
  • Convey results and findings through discussions, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Work with Navisworks and other GIS software to coordinate 3D models.
  • Design or redesign complex layouts and drawings from written or verbal specifications.
  • Create and update design records database for future reference.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience preparing design drawings using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with national and local codes related to site drainage and erosion control.
  • Proven ability to read and understand both 2D and 3D drawings.
