Inventory Specialist

As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining real-time and accurate inventory records and visibility by ensuring standard operating procedures and controls are executed in all warehouse activities and material flow. You will also investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and provide explanations and corrective actions to inventory variances.
**Key Responsibilities:** * Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and visibility * Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances * Conduct cycle counts and lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy * Collaborate with Planning to conduct ABC inventory analysis and improve cycle count efficiency and accuracy * Ensure compliance with warehouse and inventory processes and procedures * Support warehouse projects, system implementations, and process improvements * Collaborate with Site Leader and Supply Chain teams on consumables budget, inventory, and fulfillment **Requirements:** * 4+ years of experience in inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, and/or supply chain * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills * Energy, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude * Drive and self-motivation * Effective collaboration and communication skills * Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments * Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information * Professional certifications and/or licenses with Lean Six Sigma preferred * Availability to work weekend schedules and cold facilities * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and health benefits * 75% discount on HelloFresh or Chefs Plate weekly box subscription * High-impact work to help feed thousands of families in Canada * Opportunity to learn and grow * Work with a hard-working and supportive team **Working Conditions:** * As a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens.
