About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swine Sales Specialist to join our team at the GVF Group of Companies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining sales of our animal health and equipment products in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with existing customers, and provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge and Support: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, and provide technical support to customers to ensure they are getting the most out of our solutions.
  • Business Development: Work closely with our internal teams to identify new business opportunities, develop sales strategies, and implement plans to drive growth.
  • Travel and Representation: Travel throughout South-Western Ontario to visit customers, attend sales team meetings, and represent our company at industry events.
  • Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to customers on our products and services, including equipment installations and troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: A true passion for agriculture and farming, with relevant industry experience and a strong understanding of the livestock industry.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Strong sales-focused background with excellent customer service skills, ability to build relationships, and provide solutions to customers' problems.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and Technical Skills: Solid organizational skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft products, and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
