Responsibilities

As a Property Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing staff in the performance of their day-to-day responsibilities
  • Fostering positive working relationships with and among reporting staff
  • Managing NOI and CAPEX budget in your portfolio
  • Ensuring that your portfolio is operating safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring that accurate, timely, and complete documentation is maintained
  • Analyzing monthly financial statements
  • Being available Monday to Friday during the day as well as on call for emergency situations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor Degree/Diploma from a recognized college or university
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer and related technology skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented
  • No experience is required, however, experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset
  • Knowledge of Property Management procedures/law is an asset
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid Ontario driver's license
