As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will be responsible for contributing to the high-volume flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers by promoting products, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
  • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
  • Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays.
  • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork.
  • Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
  • Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock items as needed, and apply product protection when required.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise.
  • Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of merchandise and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
