Purpose of the Position:

The H2R Business Transformation Services HRIS Business Analyst will be responsible for collecting requirements, conducting user acceptance tests for HR applications, crafting reports, and resolving business production issues to improve our HRIS and its related technologies. This role involves collaboration with Human Resources, Labour Relations, Network Service Center, and IT teams to demonstrate technology for more efficient processes, considering the interplay of people, process, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all HRIS related inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team and IT to prioritize tasks, ensuring a clear governance model for delivering value to end users, aiming to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Diagnose system issues and propose solutions or recommendations
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing, identify performance issues, communicate changes to the development team, and monitor resolutions
  • Develop and maintain reports, and metrics to support HR initiatives and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure data integrity within the HRIS, including regular auditing and validation of data.
  • Develop an understanding of the organization, its processes, and customers to tackle straightforward problems with standard solutions
  • Monitor policy, process alignment, and Collective Bargaining Agreement compliance, providing status feedback
  • Assess partner requests for feasibility and impact on existing solutions and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience working with SAP ECC HCM and EHS modules
  • Experience within transportation would be an asset
  • Experience with process mapping and project management methodology
  • Experience working alongside Human Resources regarding process, procedure, and policy development or creation
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with peers, superiors, and members of multi-functional teams
