As a Labourer with the City, you will be part of a dynamic and skillful team, working in a variety of weather conditions, performing tasks such as cleaning sidewalks, handling snow and debris, operating power trimmers, and utilizing construction equipment. You will work as a member of a crew to clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads, and grounds, and assist heavy equipment operators to secure equipment attachments and guide and signal heavy equipment operators.

Physical demands of the role include exposure to a variety of weather conditions, noise, vibration, unpleasant smells, and physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.

Hourly Rate/Salary: $____________ Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, morning or afternoon shifts during the winter months. Occasional overtime hours and rotation between the yards may be required.
