Licensed Practical Nurse

SE Health is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join the team in Montreal. This position is ideal for dynamic nurses with a keen interest in the health of seniors and the aging community.
You will utilize your clinical expertise and implement a patient and family-centered approach to guarantee top-notch care for our residents.

- Casual role with availability on weekends

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents as per the Care Plan and Community protocols.
- Report any resident condition changes promptly to the relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise non-regulated care partners, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed correctly.
- Identify and report health, safety, or maintenance concerns as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and others to enhance resident care.
- Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain accurate daily charting using electronic systems.
- Perform all duties efficiently and safely.
Requirements:
- LPN Certificate and current registration with the OIIAQ.
- Up-to-date immunization records.
- Clear Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid CPR Level C certification.
- Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, preferably in a supportive living setting.
- Preferably experience in palliative care.
- Compassionate and respectful demeanor, with conflict resolution skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments.
- Proficient in computer skills.
