POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Process Design, and Workforce Planning to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our business processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring effective utilization of our workforce resources.

As a Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and drive strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

This is a fully remote position, with hybrid/on-site options available for those who wish to work from our Toronto Corporate Office.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Optimization:
Analyze existing business processes, identify bottlenecks, and design innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Analyze and determine the best pharmacy workflow for various formats, balancing efficiency, and patient care.

  • Pharmacy System (Kroll): Work collaborative with Kroll/Telus Health team to optimize the use of our pharmacy software system in our retail pharmacies. Partner with our Strategy, Operations, and IT teams to ensure the optimal use of this software across our network.

Workforce Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive workforce planning strategies to ensure the organization has the right talent in the right place at the right time.

Assess roles, capabilities, and regulatory environment to design a labour model and workforce plan aligned to our strategic objectives. Partner with operations and finance team to forecast labour needs for the short, medium, and long term.

Data Analysis:

Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, monitor key performance indicators, and recommend improvements to optimize processes and workforce allocation.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to align process design and workforce planning initiatives with overall business objectives.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends related to process design and workforce planning. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance organizational capabilities.

Change Management:
Effectively manage change initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation of process improvements and workforce planning strategies across the organization.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, summarizing findings, recommendations, and the impact of process optimization and workforce planning efforts.


Compliance:
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all process design and workforce planning activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in process design, optimization, and workforce planning. Experience in retail, specifically, pharmacy retail is an asset.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Change management expertise, with the ability to drive and manage organizational change initiatives successfully.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
