Consumables Associate

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will be responsible for contributing to the high-volume flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Assist customers by promoting products, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
- Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
- Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays.
- Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork.
- Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
- Stock merchandise, pick, and downstock items as needed.
Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience an asset.

- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
