Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized self-service area, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide education and support to customers on the use of self-service options, promoting efficient and accurate transactions.
  • Upsell company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services and product protection initiatives.
  • Monitor customer activity and provide assistance when needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Explain self-service interventions and quality checks in a clear and reassuring manner, promoting a positive customer experience.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete necessary documentation.
  • Notify the Customer Service Manager of low cash or technical issues in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated home after use.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of self-service technology and operations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
