Palliative care physicians are sought to provide clinical service in a multidisciplinary team at Burnaby Hospital, B.C.
Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, serving over two million people.
Key responsibilities include providing Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage in the Palliative Complex Care Unit (PCCU) and consultation services to acute care and community-based patients.
Successful candidates will have certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, with preference given to those with additional training in Palliative Medicine.
Remuneration is by service contract at a rate set provincially by the Ministry of Health.
Key Qualifications- CCFP (PC) certification
- CMPA membership
- CPSBC eligibility for full license
- FRCPC certification
