Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Produce Stocker to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Produce Stocker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our produce department is fully stocked and visually appealing, while also providing exceptional customer service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product placement.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business to meet customer demands.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stocks merchandise/picks, downstocks if applicable, and applies product protection when required to prevent loss and damage.
