Job Summary

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the produce department to ensure efficient stock rotation and inventory management.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high level of product quality.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and inventory management.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
