We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Orthopaedic Technician to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.





The salary range for this position is CAD $44.96 per hour.





Fraser Health is responsible for delivering hospital and community-based health services in the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish and Nlaka'pamux Nations.





We are currently looking to fill a Full-Time opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse/Orthopaedic Technician at Royal Columbian Hospital located in New Westminster, B.C.





As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Orthopaedic Technician, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.





**Key Responsibilities:**

• Assess patient/resident/family's actual and potential strengths and limitations
• Provide a supportive environment for patient/resident/family
• Contribute to the development and ongoing changes to the individualized plan of care
• Provide nursing care according to identified policies and procedures
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients/residents
• Document and update all relevant care and procedure information
• Operate and maintain effective functioning equipment related to patient/resident care
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients/residents and staff
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities





**Qualifications:**

• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• Graduation from a recognized program in Orthopaedic Technology, current registration with the Canadian Society of Orthopaedic Technicians, plus two years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
