Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at AgeCare. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and observe patients for any adverse reactions
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans to meet their unique needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements:
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Vulnerable sector check
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting
  • Knowledge of gerontology and palliative care
