Join Nova Scotia Health as a Rehabilitation Assistant in our Physiotherapy Department
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to work collaboratively with our team to provide rehabilitation services to patients with limitations in movement and daily function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assigned interventions under the supervision of therapists to help patients regain movement and function
- Check and clean equipment, maintain treatment and storage areas, and order necessary supplies
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or GED
- Rehabilitation Assistant Program (including Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy components)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Organizational ability to complete assigned work and manage changing staffing and caseload levels
- Demonstrate basic computer skills
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
- Access to reliable transportation
Benefits:
- $22.84 - $25.95 hourly
