About the Opportunity

The Rehabilitation Assistant plays a vital role in our patient care team, working collaboratively with therapists to deliver safe and proficient interventions that promote movement, occupation, and function. This active member of the team is responsible for supporting patients with limitations in movement and daily function, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their treatment. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for maintaining treatment and storage areas, ordering necessary supplies, and effectively communicating with patients, families, and staff.

About You

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, including a Grade 12 or equivalent and a Rehabilitation Assistant Program that includes both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy components. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is also required. A strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, as well as good interpersonal skills and organizational ability, are essential for this role.

Hours

This is a long-assignment part-time position, requiring 52.5 hours bi-weekly. The successful candidate will be expected to work as soon as possible, with an approximate end date of November 30, 2025. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.84 - $25.95, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
