Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Over-the-Counter Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales and profitability of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maximize department sales and profit through effective inventory management and customer engagement.
  • Rotate stock, check for expired products, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Zoning the department and ensuring a visually appealing store presentation.
  • Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Ensure the area is N.C.O. and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
  • Maintain zero pricing errors and ensure accurate scanning and crediting.
  • Calibrate equipment used in the prescription filling process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move around the store as needed.
