As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and developing business strategies to drive growth.

About the Role:
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through research and networking in the engineering industry.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Lead the bid process, prepare and deliver proposals to clients.
  • Deliver presentations and lead business development initiatives to promote RVA's brand and secure new business deals.
  • Support major pursuits and proposals, and monitor budgets and schedules.
  • Manage tasks, team, schedules, budgets, and project work procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and technologists.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Engineer in the province of British Columbia.
  • 15 years of experience in consulting engineering, with at least 10 years in business development.
  • Strong people management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with water regulatory frameworks and permitting processes in British Columbia.
  • Superior English communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
