About the Role:- Identify and secure new business opportunities through research and networking in the engineering industry.
- Develop and implement business strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Lead the bid process, prepare and deliver proposals to clients.
- Deliver presentations and lead business development initiatives to promote RVA's brand and secure new business deals.
- Support major pursuits and proposals, and monitor budgets and schedules.
- Manage tasks, team, schedules, budgets, and project work procedures.
- Supervise and mentor engineers, designers, and technologists.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and contractors.
- University degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Engineer in the province of British Columbia.
- 15 years of experience in consulting engineering, with at least 10 years in business development.
- Strong people management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with water regulatory frameworks and permitting processes in British Columbia.
- Superior English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
