**Senior Project Manager for Educational Infrastructure** Seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and implementation of strategies for the effective management of the province's school infrastructure, including 295 schools.

We are looking for a client-centric and adaptable individual with strong teamwork skills, who can effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of related progressive experience in facility planning, building administration, or management of physical plant.

**Key Responsibilities:** • Recommend capital projects and consult with Anglophone and Francophone School Districts, District Education Councils, and community groups • Plan educational facilities, review architectural plans and specifications, and ensure compliance with environmental and public safety laws and regulations • Manage approved budgetary allotments and follow up with School Districts and the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure on other identified issues • Provide leadership on issues related to the operations of school physical plants **Requirements:** • University degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field • Minimum of five years of related progressive experience in facility planning, building administration, or management of physical plant • Written and spoken competence in English and French (Level 3 advanced) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines **Nice to Have:** • Knowledge of applicable legislation and the Department's policies and procedures • Knowledge of the Department's administrative processes, practices, and procedures • Specialized subject matter expertise and knowledge • Planning and organizing skills **Behavioural Competencies:** • Analytical thinking/judgment • Commitment to learning • Effective interactive communication • Self-confidence • Concern for order **Technical Competencies:** • Knowledge of applicable legislation and the Department's policies and procedures • Knowledge of the Department's administrative processes, practices, and procedures • Project management **What We Offer:** • Comprehensive benefits package and the Public Service Shared Risk Pension Plan • Opportunities for career growth, professional development, and training • Free access to Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and services • 1 paid Volunteer Day per year to give back to your community • 1.25 days/month of paid vacation • 1.25 days/month of paid sick leave **Providing a Safe Workplace:** We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
