What is the opportunity?

The role of the Digital Marketing Coordinator is to assist the Wealth Management Canada (WMC) marketing team with the administrative and operational management of our advisor website platform. This role includes helping Advisors optimize their website presence, by offering scalable solutions that help to build their individual advisor brand and that of RBC Wealth Management, and that align to our tech stack and overall marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, self-motivated individual who is a skilled relationship builder, has a creative and equally analytical marketing mind and a passion for improving client experiences.

What will you do?

  • As a first point of contact for our field of advisors and branch management, you will work alongside our dedicated in-house creative and development team to facilitate the creation and delivery of advisor websites.
  • Conduct advisor website consultations that enable advisors to self-serve, apply best practices and leverage available technology as it relates to their website.
  • Facilitate website builds for new investment advisors.
  • Collaborate closely with our in-house developers and external vendors to ensure timely updates and fixes of any bug-related issues to the website platform.
  • Assist our content team with effective distribution strategies of our content via advisor websites.
  • Assist with keyword research and analysis as required for ongoing SEO enhancements to advisor websites.
  • Collaborate with our internal analytics teams to develop relevant dashboards, pull reports and educate advisors on website performance
  • Present and educate advisors on the website platform and best practices

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • You have 3+ years of marketing experience in a consulting role, financial services or similar and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • You have experience applying proven marketing strategies to enhance performance, including SEO, accessibility, and other user experience best practices.
  • You take a client-first, collaborative approach to your tasks, making an effort to build effective relationships.
  • You can independently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • You're comfortable speaking in front of a variety of listeners and use your strong verbal and written skills to speak to your audience while being a natural problem solver who can think on your feet.
  • You have a habit of uncovering opportunities and being naturally resourceful and are motivated to get things done.

Nice to have

  • Broad knowledge of financial markets with some familiarity with wealth management
  • Experience with web development ie. basic knowledge of coding (HTML / CSS)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, Figma
  • Fluent in French (reading, writing, conversation)
