Actuarial Student Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Conduct experience studies, including preparation of experience analysis reports
  • Prepare and analyze premium reset exercises using Excel and GGY AXIS
  • Monitor and report on risk limits
  • Develop analysis tools to support inforce management activities
  • Run actuarial models in Excel and/or Prophet
Requirements
  • Enrolled at the University level and pursuing a Bachelor of Mathematics, with a major in Actuarial Science
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of actuarial concepts at a level commensurate with applicant's educational experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience using GGY AXIS and/or Prophet
  • Programming experience in VBA
  • Passed at least one SOA exam
