Our team of professionals provides a variety of high-quality inpatient and outpatient services, including academic, tertiary, and quaternary care, as well as continuing care, primary health care, public health, and mental health and addictions.
The Care Team Assistant will work under the supervision of regulated health professionals, providing direct care to patients and supporting their activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have a Continuing Care Assistant Program certification and be registered with the CCA Registry.
About the Role- Provide direct care to patients, including supporting activities of daily living and reinforcing patient teaching according to established guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and enhance skills.
- Continuing Care Assistant Program certification.
- Provincial Certification with Department of Health and Wellness.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Effective listening and communication skills.
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
- Permanent Full-time (100% FTE); 75 Hours Bi-weekly.
- $25.70 hourly.
