About the Role
VON Canada is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Nova Scotia. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings across the province.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, including diabetes management, dialysis, IV medications, and wound care.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct home visits to assess patient needs and provide education on disease management.
- Collaborate with community resources to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice.
- Experience in community health an asset.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
