The Metro Toronto Convention Centre is seeking a Casual Stewarding Supervisor to join its team. This role involves supervising stewarding staff, assisting with departmental training, and monitoring daily labour costs.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise stewarding staff and delegate job tasks as required
  • Assist with departmental training and orientation of new and existing employees
  • Monitor daily labour costs and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
  • Undertake disciplinary action if necessary

**Requirements:**

  • At least 2-5 years of supervisory experience in stewarding/kitchen areas within the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in a unionized environment
  • WHMIS Certification is required
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work overnight shifts starting at 10:00 pm
