In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and posting job vacancies, providing subject matter expertise to hiring managers, and participating in recruiting events.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement creative recruitment marketing campaigns to increase talent brand awareness and candidate engagement.
- Find, present, and engage in external opportunities to promote PLEA to prospective candidates and students.
- Administer the agency's student programs, including building partnerships with educational institutions and connecting with students to create a talented candidate pool.
- Conduct background screening processes for shortlisted candidates and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Collect and report on feedback from departing staff and students, escalating concerns to the CHRO as necessary.
- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring accurate and organized filing systems and records.
- Develop systems to track HR metrics and prepare regular reports.
- Support the HR team in preboarding and onboarding activities, facilitating HR orientation sessions as needed.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including building and managing relationships with a high level of professionalism.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including preparing engaging written and digital content.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
- Strong time management, organizational, administrative, and project management skills, including handling multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, make sound decisions, and be held accountable for results.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, database systems, talent-search platforms, applicant tracking systems, and web-based conferencing tools.
- Knowledge of labour and employment laws, including Employment Standards, Human Rights Code, and Labour/Employee Relations.
