Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Flight Training Instructors to join our team at Canadian Helicopters. As a Flight Training Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering ground school lectures, FTD lessons, and maintenance test flights. You will also be required to carry out other duties as assigned by the Chief Rotary Wing Instructor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Ground School Lectures: Provide high-quality instruction to students on various aspects of flight training, including theory and practical applications.
  • Deliver FTD Lessons: Conduct FTD lessons to students, focusing on simulator training and scenario-based exercises.
  • Maintenance Test Flights: Conduct maintenance test flights as required, ensuring that aircraft are airworthy and meet regulatory standards.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Rotary Wing Instructor, including administrative tasks and support to the training program.
Requirements
  • Licence: Hold a valid Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL) or equivalent, and a valid Medical Certificate.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 500 hours of flight experience, with a strong background in rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Qualifications: Hold a valid Instructor Rating, and a valid Class IV Instrument Rating.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in English, and have a good understanding of French.
