Position Summary:

As a part of the management team, the Team Leader assists the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in daily store operations.

When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable, the Team Leader ensures proper store opening/closing procedures, asset management, and employee safety.

The Team Leader also plays a role in inventory control, loss prevention, performance management, and the recruitment and training of new employees.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Maximizing store resources and appearance while keeping shelves stocked
  • Ensuring employee safety and compliance with company rules
  • Operating the cash register
  • Assisting in merchandise receiving and stocking
  • Following established merchandising practices
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining store cleanliness
  • Participating in new employee recruitment and training

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in retail management
  • Drive to advance within the company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Flexibility with work schedules (day, evening, weekend)
