Job Title: Information Security Governance & Compliance Specialist
About the Role
The Information Security Governance & Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the firm's information security posture is aligned with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Technical SME for Client Bids and Audits: Provide technical expertise to support client bids and audits, ensuring NRF's responses are consistent and accurate.
- Lead Support for Client Bids and Audits: Coordinate the completion of complex questionnaires received from clients, often with tight deadlines.
- Third-Party Supplier Onboarding: Conduct thorough evaluations of new suppliers to ensure compliance with NRF's information security requirements.
- Information Security & IT Product Knowledge: Provide support on NRF's global controls, maintain a central response and evidence database, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Knowledge Transfer and Research: Share knowledge with other governance & compliance analysts, research new technologies and processes to increase team efficiency, and stay up-to-date with developments in the Cyber domain.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Escalate policy compliance issues, track remediation actions, and perform third-party supplier risk assessments to protect the firm and client data.
- Education: IT or information security qualification or 7+ years' experience in a similar role.
- ISO 27001 Qualification: ISO 27001 qualification and/or experience.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to articulate complex information security controls to a business audience.
- Global Experience: Experience working in large, matrix, and geographically dispersed global organizations where IT and information security have played a key role in the business.
- GRC Tools Experience: Experience in using governance, risk & compliance (GRC) tools, such as OneTrust GRC and BitSight platform.
- Industry Certification: Relevant industry certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or similar.
