Senior Manager of Information Security Governance

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Information Security Governance to join our Information Security department at First National. As a strategic and integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, processes, and procedures to secure our assets and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Lead the information security risk management program, evaluating risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Manage the security risk management and compliance strategy, framework, and approach, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective security controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business unit managers, and IT operations staff.
- Provide oversight of information security projects, ensuring they meet their required goals, constraints are addressed, and resources are aligned.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in information security management, with a minimum of 7 years in a medium or large-sized organization.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Information security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO27001, preferred.
- Experience with information security management frameworks, such as NIST or ISO27001.
- Strong interpersonal communication, analysis, and writing skills.
- Leadership skills, including ability to work effectively with business unit managers and IT operations staff.
