Job Title: Data Entry / Document Scanner
Location: Toronto, Ontario. Close by the major intersection of Keele & Finch
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, Days: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or Afternoons: 4:30 pm to 12:00 am
Pay: $17.85/hr

Assignment Information:
We are looking for associates to help with our client in the Dufferin & Lawrence area. Our client is a records management company and is looking for assistance in all aspects of scanning and data entry of paper and digital documents.

PLEASE NOTE: This position is working in a warehouse office-type environment where you will be sitting at a workstation with a scanner and monitor. This is NOT an office position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of documents for scanning by removing of staples and bindings to ensure efficient document processing

• Quality Assurance to verify the accuracy of documents scanned

• Using scanning equipment

• Data Entry and indexing into various databases.

• Quality Control and review of output images for proper resolution and overall quality

• Printing and assembling of documents into various bindings

• Utilize computerized data entry equipment and various word processing and spreadsheets to enter necessary information.

• Working with colleagues in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail

• Intermediate skills in Adobe and Internet

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required

• Computer skills, including experience with MS Office – Word and Excel.

• Able to work in an environment with minimal supervision

• Ability to interact with all levels of management in a very professional manner

Working Conditions:

• Ability to perform the same repetitive task for long periods

• Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
