Medication Care Partner role requires administering medication, reviewing resident support plans, and providing assistance with daily living activities.

As a Medication Care Partner, you will play a critical role in the lives of residents, impacting their well-being and igniting human connection. This is a temporary full-time position, 75 hours bi-weekly, with a schedule of 4 days on, 2 days off.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 2 Days: 2:30pm-10:30pm
  • 2 Days: 10:30pm-6:30am
  • 2 Days: OFF

Your typical day will involve:

  • Administering medication according to legislative requirements and policies.
  • Reviewing residents' support plans and providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, mobility, and continence management.
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' vitals, weights, behavior, mobility, safety, and involvement in activities.
  • Escorting residents to social activity programs, appointments, and dining room.
  • Promptly answering nursing call systems.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Medication Administration certification, or willingness to be certified.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, as well as experience with medication administration.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
