Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality standard and accuracy in picking and packing online grocery delivery orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve timely delivery to customers.
  • Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
  • Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, with no damaged products and freshest product selection.
  • Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
  • Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
  • Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service, including supporting issues to resolution.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean-up of spills and debris, and ensuring all totes are clean and void of debris before packing.
  • Operate material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner and ensure all safety pre-inspection checks are completed before use.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in completing and adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
