Key Responsibilities- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve timely delivery to customers.
- Order Accuracy: Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes.
- Quality Control: Ensure that products picked are of the highest quality, with no damaged products and freshest product selection.
- Documentation and Labeling: Correctly document and label all orders through interpretation and understanding of documentation, including pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels.
- Tote Optimization: Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards.
- Customer Interaction: Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and offer service, including supporting issues to resolution.
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, and operating material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to operational procedures, productivity standards, and efficiencies.
