Health Care Aide

Health Care Aide needed to provide care and support to seniors living in a facility, using a client-centered approach that incorporates current research into practice.
As a key member of the care team, you will provide hospitality model service to residents, including personal care, activities of daily living, and assistance with meal delivery. You will also provide medication assistance and report changes in resident conditions to the LPN. Your role will involve flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the needs of residents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal delivery and provide hospitality model service to residents
- Provide medication assistance and report changes in resident conditions to the LPN
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the needs of residents
- Chart resident information daily and participate in ongoing educational programs
**Qualifications:**
- Registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Up-to-date immunization record and current TB test
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational skills
- Compassionate and respectful manner, with ability to deal with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner
