Health Care Aide role requires leading a team to deliver exceptional care and services to residents, promoting a culture of innovation and growth.
As a Health Care Aide, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
- Providing medication assistance and care tasks, including BP monitoring, catheter care, and mobility exercises.
- Monitoring resident well-being and reporting any concerns to management.
- Performing other related duties to support common area cleaning, laundry, and resident care assignments.
- Completing all aspects of resident care as outlined in the personal service plan.
- Responding promptly to resident call bells and door alarms.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of Care Aid certificate program.
- Medication Certification.
- Current First Aid/CPR training and experience with medication assistance.
- Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
- Passing of Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check (applicable to Ontario and British Columbia applicants).
