DHL Express has an opening for a Senior Manager- Compensation and Benefits & HRIS in our National Office in Brampton, ON. This role will provide both day-to-day and strategic compensation and benefits support, partner with IT on HR System related initiatives, and manage the HR systems team by providing strategic direction. Designs, implements and administers employee compensation programs, including job evaluations, base pay delivery, short-term and long-term incentives programs, sales compensation and other reward and recognition programs. Ensures compensation programs are aligned with DHL's compensation philosophy and overall talent strategy. Oversees alignment of employee pay levels by utilizing both external and internal data. Maintains compliance with all legal requirements of various pay and benefit programs.

· Maintains and analyzes ongoing compensation program, evaluates jobs using market data and established evaluation systems and/or procedures · Audits evaluation of jobs and different pay programs · Participates in compensation surveys and prepare analysis and recommendations on findings · Develops job summaries and/or descriptions · Recommends changes to compensation programs to maintain the company's competitive position in the marketplace · Prepares merit budgets and develops salary ranges · Analyzes current variable compensation programs · Assists in the administration of merit rating programs; reviews proposed changes in pay for conformance to policy · Analyzes current variable compensation programs to determine plan effectiveness: models proposed incentive plans to ensure viability of design and ensure payouts will provide market competitive payments for appropriate performance requirements · Prepares special studies and recommendations on subjects such as base pay delivery, incentive compensation, sales compensation, and performance management · May develop, recommend and implement Compensation process and policy changes and may participate in design and analysis of compensation programs and external reporting requirements · May provide functional guidance, advice and/or training to less-experienced compensation staff · Responsible for the management of policies, processes and practices related to compensation, benefits, performance management and workforce planning · At times, acts as HR generalist to support all levels of management and employees within the designated country · Prepares reports and analyzes data from human resource information systems for information reporting and management decision making · Develops internal communication materials regarding benefits, compensation, and other human resources policies and procedures or other internal business issues · Assists with organizational design strategies within the business · Formulates best practice HR policies, procedures and Manager Guidelines as required, ensuring these are maintained current and legally compliant · Function as a strategic partner and contribute process improvements for all key system implementations/upgrades · · Facilitate regular data audits · · Optimize HR technology systems to meet workflow requirements, create opportunities for automation, and continuously look for ways to migrate manual HR processes into a more simplified, automated process

Do you have what it takes?

· Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 7-10 years of equivalent experience · Professional certification required in some areas · Must be detailed oriented and have strong analytical skills · Conflict Management and Problem-Solving knowledge · Must be able to work independently and as part of a team · Advanced Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) · Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask a variety of priority tasks and projects · Excellent oral and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes · Experience partnering with the business at a senior management and executive level in a complex environment · Experience working with SAP, HRIS, Data Analysis, Project Management required · 6+ years HRIS experience partnering with the business at a senior management and executive level in a complex environment · 2+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, and leading other
