Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Western region of Newfoundland. The successful candidate will provide primary care clinical coverage in the Stephenville/Bay St. George Health Neighbourhood.

About the Role: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing primary health care services to the population in the Stephenville/Bay St. George Health Neighbourhood. You will provide services in various settings, including in-person visits, virtual care, and visits in patients' homes, including personal care homes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide primary care clinical coverage in the Stephenville/Bay St. George Health Neighbourhood
    • Work independently with limited supervision
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
    • Travel to various locations, including patients' homes and personal care homes

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Current Nurse Practitioner License
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Willingness to travel

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary scale: $100,006.99 to $124,117.68 per annum
  • 75 hours per pay period
  • 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with evenings and weekends as required
