Job Summary
The Expert in Telephony & Contact Center Solution Architecture/Product Management transforms business requirements into product roadmaps, defining comprehensive Telephony and Contact Center solutions aligned with Enterprise Architecture and corporate strategies. Collaborating closely with Business and I&T stakeholders, the Expert drives the evolution of CN's IT enterprise platform products and solutions. This involves incorporating user and business client feedback, adhering to Enterprise Architecture principles, and utilizing input from the Service Offering Manager and Product Owner. The role ensures that products meet CN's regulatory, cybersecurity standards, market best practices, and modernization goals.
Main Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
- Assess the current tech portfolio and suggest enhancements or alternatives
- Evaluate Voice and infrastructure technologies
- Implement data center and network evolution initiatives
- Design modular solutions with replication capabilities
- Review business requests for feasibility, impacts, and risks
Collaborate with System Architecture, provide guidance to project teams, ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with corporate standards, manage architectural risks, and support other Solution Architects.
Customer Partnering
- Build trusted relationships with customers and support leads
- Translate customer needs into solutions through formal roadmaps
- Define and enhance requirements for products and solutions
- Manage product pipelines and new product developments
Engage with various stakeholders to ensure clarity of project requirements, understand product costs, and monitor customer satisfaction.
Evolving Product Roadmaps
Provide insights on innovative technologies, organize Product Governance, manage product lifecycles, assess security risks, align with Architecture strategies, prioritize roadmap initiatives, monitor project execution, and ensure product consistency.
Collaborate with vendors, ensure delivery of requirements, and manage inter-dependencies between products.
Working Conditions
Standard office environment with occasional North American travel (< 10%)
Requirements
Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in a similar role
- Experience in creating Voice solutions architecture
- Leadership experience in large organizations and transportation logistics
Education/Certification/Designation
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Competencies
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Business acumen and industry knowledge
- Organizational and planning skills
Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Expertise in IP Telephony and Contact Center Technologies
- Experience with IT security practices and transformation initiatives
