Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Centre de Santé Saint-Boniface. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation, client assessment, physiotherapy diagnosis, planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation to maintain optimal function, prevent disability, and promote well-being.
  • Develop and implement physiotherapy programs to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
  • Provide education and guidance to other healthcare providers and patients.
  • Participate in the education of other healthcare professionals and students.
Requirements
  • Entry-to-practice academic credential in physiotherapy from an accredited Canadian university program or the approved equivalent if internationally educated.
  • Registration on the Active Practice Register of the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba.
  • Membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association is preferred.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent and relevant clinical experience.
  • Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other disciplines and demonstrate professional judgment and initiative.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time without resting.
  • Must demonstrate the use of safe and effective body mechanics while working with clients.
  • Must be able to safely transfer large and/or heavy clients who may have limited or no weight-bearing capabilities.
  • May be required to work evenings or weekends.
  • May be required to occasionally work extended hours.
