Provides administrative and operational support to School and Continuing Education programs and entrepreneurial activities with minimal supervision.

Works with sensitive and confidential information and may require working evenings and weekends.

Supports Department Chairs, Deans and Coordinators in the coordination, scheduling and facilitation of courses, programs and activities.

Coordinates the preparation of timetables and course schedules, seasonal school and Continuing Education calendars, and special events.

Assists in the marketing and implementation of current and new programs, coordinates the dissemination of information, and participates on college, school and departmental committees.

Coordinates classroom requests, ensures course materials and equipment are available, and arranges instructor access to rooms.

Reviews instructor contracts for operational support issues and provides orientation and course delivery support to instructors.

Performs a variety of clerical duties and other related tasks.

Requires a Grade 12 plus Office Management diploma or equivalent training together with four years of prior related experience.

Requires demonstrated ability to take responsibility, display initiative, problem-solve, and make independent decisions.

Requires excellent organizational skills, knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheets and database applications, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the preparation of timetables and course schedules.
