Job Summary

As a Directs Store Delivery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This position involves coordinating and processing direct and local merchandise for delivery to the salesfloor, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure high-ticket merchandise in designated locations to prevent damage or loss.
  • Process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol, to meet customer demand.
  • Train other DSD Associates on receiving area processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Maintain a clean receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for prompt shipment with necessary documentation.
  • Follow safety protocols for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, and ladders to prevent accidents.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines.
  • Ensure cold chain compliance to maintain quality assurance, including documenting temperature logs and using the Sure Check App.
