Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Facilitator to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a Clinical Education Facilitator, you will play a key role in providing guidance and direction to participants in the undergraduate Nursing Program to ensure quality patient care and outcomes based on best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to students in the undergraduate Nursing Program
  • Organize, supervise, and evaluate students' clinical performance
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of clinical education policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of three (3) years of current clinical experience on the ward
  • Recent teaching experience preferred
  • Graduate from an approved School of Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred
  • Certificate in Adult Education is an asset
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration, with C.R.N.M. required
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of word processing, email, and internet software
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
  • Demonstrates commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients
Working Conditions
  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required
