  • Continuous Improvement: Champion best practices, quality standards, and process improvements within the engineering organization. Identify areas for optimization and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2+ years of experience directly managing a mid-sized team of engineers
  • 6+ years of experience in frontend software development with the React ecosystem

  • Skilled in guiding technology and architecture choices with a focus on delivering business value
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A passion for development and solving problems, and a desire to be actively involved in writing code

  • Experience maintaining Jira and project managing the lifecycle of a feature / epic
  • Data-driven decision making and experience guiding a team in selecting and achieving realistic-yet-challenging OKRs
  • A passion for growing and supporting your team through 1:1 meetings, mentorship and coaching, and working on career progression plans
  • Ability to think about the big-picture roadmap and technical vision of the product, and integrate those plans into near-term sprint planning and project architecture
  • Confidence in running standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings that align with the company roadmap while balancing maintenance and the needs of the team
  • Knowledge of DevOps & Infrastructure (AWS) is nice to have
  • Must have start-up experience; big company experience okay in combination, but not exclusively.
