Registered Nurse, Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medicine team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care, assess and plan nursing interventions, and collaborate with patients and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, identify nursing diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide person-centered care, promote health education, and support self-care.
- Participate in care conferences, nursing committees, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient experiences.
- Stay current with best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and regulatory requirements to provide high-quality patient care.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with a focus on medical-surgical nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
